Profile of Candidate:
Robert Scott McClackin was born in Los Angeles, California on July 14, 1962. His parents, Judy and Rhett McClackin, owned a small deli and sandwich shop. Robert has an older sister and two younger brothers. He attended elementary through high school in California. After graduation he joined the Air Force where he served for four years.
After the Air Force, Robert attended Harvard Law where he met and married his wife, Barbara. Robert and Barbara both graduated with honors from Harvard and opened their own law firm in Barbara's home town of Wheatland, Missouri. Barbara worked at the firm with Robert until the birht of their first child Miranda. Shortly after Miranda's second birthday they welcomed thier second child, John. Barbara made the decision to continue to stay at home with the children. Robert decided to run as a Democratic candidate for state representative and served 12 years before successfully running for the U.S. Senate where he is currently serving his second term.
When Robert has free time he loves coming to Missouri, which he now considers his home, to attend baseball games in St. Louis. Robert is also an avid hunter and loves to fish.
What will your candidate do for America?:
If elected president, Robert McClackin will get "crackin" on the issues in Washington. He will personally see to it that issues that are important to voters are addressed and dealt with in a manner that benefits the most people. Robert will reduce taxes for working Americans and see that big business does not receive tax breaks they do not deserve. He will work with the legislature to make education in America the best in the world. Robert will improve ecomomic conditions for Americans allowing them to enjoy a better quality of life.
